Hey kids!

As the journal suggests, instead of kicking back downin' a beer, I am stuck at work writing this. Lucky its a bloody enduro otherwise I wouldn't get to see any of it! I should fit the last 30 or 40 laps in though.

Work isn't too bad. Lamby's is great as usual. In general, life is going awesome. I have good friends around me which I never used to have as much before, financially I am not severely worried, and my gearbox doesn't seem to be fucked! All added up, it makes for a happy me.

Been a big nerd lately. Gaz (~scoota269) and I have built a server out of the second oldest computer I have lying around at home. It's a Pentium II 333mhz processor, 128mb RAM. It's running openSuse 11 (There ya go Gaz ) with Apache, MySQL, PHP, SSH, NX, FTP, IRC, COD2, and TeamSpeak servers on it. We're also going to be adding a Mail, Print, and most likely COD4 server onto it.

Now, for those NYE celebrations type people, get down to Geelong for New Year By The Waterfront! And then Lamby's afterwards. Great event, and ridiculously cheap taking into account what you get from your money. Check it out, it's fantastic. I'll be working at the event for the third year running this year, really looking forward to it. Would be good to see some familiar faces!

The Living End are headlining ( @ Kel ), Test Pilot Molly and Passionfruit Pulp are going to be there rocking out also! Ticket price includes all the booze you can drink and all the food you can eat, plus free entry to Lamby's afterwards. I believe last year the tickets were about 130 bucks or so, so its very good value.
